Apple will Stop Production of 17-inch MacBook Pro

In anticipation of WWDC 2012 in the network there are new details about what products can show us Apple.

We’ve heard that line of MacBook Pro can get a thinner shell and Retina-displays . In a network, even appearing specification 13-inch and 15-inch “proshek”, but was nowhere mentions the older models with a diagonal of 17 inches.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told the publication AppleInsider, Apple is in this year is likely to provide only 13 – and15-inch MacBook Pro, and the production of the old 17-inch device can be quickly and completely stopped.

It would seem a logical step – share a 17-inch MacBook Pro Apple computers including realized in Q1 2012 amounted to only 1.7%. While the 13-inch MacBook Pro, the figure is 46.9%, while the thin MacBook Air – 18,1%. 

Ming-Chih Kuo said that in 2013 a series of MacBook Pro can disappear altogether, while 13 – and 15-inch MacBook Pro will be renamed to the “new MacBook” – by analogy with the latest generation of iPad .
