Huawei Launches MediaPad 10 FHD, First Quad-Core 10-inch Tablet

MediaPad 10 FHD Chinese manufacturer announces first quad-core tablet of 10 inches. MediaPad 10 FHD has a 10 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet has a thickness of 8.8 mm and a weight of 598 grams.

Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is equipped with quad-core 1.5 GHz frequency K3 and a graphics processor with 3D technology. Huawei K3, developed by Chinese manufacturer, is the smallest quad-core processor in the world.

“Most people use tablets for entertainment, gaming, viewing multimedia content, browsing the Internet or read electronic books,” said Richard Yu, president of Huawei. “We created the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD for the height of all points of view, such as speed, performance, navigagare web, high definition movies and music, all in a portable design and comnpact ” Yu added.

Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD has a camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels with autofocus and a front camera with 1.3 megapixel resolution. The tablet has connectivity LTE (84 Mbps) and Dolby surround sound.

The tablet has installed the latest version of the operating system developed by Google, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD will be available starting the second quarter of this year.

MediaPad 10 FHD is presented to the Huawei booth at Mobile World Congress, held between February 27 and March 1, 2012 in Barcelona.
