One of the innovations of Windows 8, as we recall, had the opportunity to work on mobile ARM-processors. However, during the very first presentation of the system , Microsoft has not shown it. And here at CES 2012 was first demonstrated with the tablet processor Qualcomm, working on Windows 8.
The test sample representative worked on the latest generation of mobile processors, Qualcomm – S4 with network support 4G LTE.
The CEO Paul Jacobs demonstrated how the new Microsoft operating system can run on ARM-processor – without any freezes or slowdown.
The presentation was made by Nokia and Stephen Elop head, who said that a new era for mobile devices, and more and more people for the first time in my life just surf the Internet from mobile devices. He said that thanks to processor Qualcomm, Nokia will bring Windows Phone to a whole new level, though it can not yet compare with the opportunities that gives Windows 8.
