A Battery With Record Thickness that Can be Flexible Print

A Battery that Can be Flexible Print

NEC, who works on the subject for many years, has unveiled its new generation of batteries ORB (Organic Radical battery).

The latter now has a record thickness of 0.3 mm and can be printed directly on a flexible plastic or any card.
If autonomy does not allow him even to power a mobile in a single layer, NEC to use it to create various maps, which will power, or print on the back of an OLED or a garment to feed it directly.

As often with technology radically different from what one knows, the more is hard to imagine the various applications possible with such a battery.
