The U.S. Military is Armed With iPad

U.S. Army plans to purchase up to 18,000 tablets. Air Force will therefore model and commercial companies will replace old flight manuals iPad.

“The U.S. Military is looking for a tablet, not necessarily iPad” said Lt. Col. Glen Roberts. According to another official announcement, the U.S. Army would have to buy “minimum 63 and maximum 18 000” iPad 2 tablets.

American pilots will use tablets rather cumbersome and complicated flight manuals. American Aviation Administration has already equipped Apple tablet crews of aircraft C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globe master.
