Amazon Releases Maps API

Amazon Releases Maps API 1

Amazon in September 2012 presented Maps API which is now without limits available . At that time it was said that you could teach the involvement of Programming Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD mapping functions and thereby paving an easy migration path for developers who are already using the Google Maps API on Android. Amazon now has the API to the Mobile SDK added.

Basically, the API consists of two components: The so-called Interactive Maps and Custom Overlays. With an interactive map of the former can be integrated into an application with functions of Google Maps ago already known. With the customized overlays you can select, for example, places such as interest from business partners or even bear indications.
