The Katy Perry Joins Forces with The Sims

The Electronic Arts Inc. today announced the launch of an extensive and exclusive, creative collaboration between Katy Perry, one of the biggest superstars and The Sims, one of the most popular game series in the history of gaming. In collaboration with Perry, the internationally renowned Sims Studio plans to develop multiple games in the The Sims franchise, which will include special content and virtual goods on Katy Perry.

The partnership puts forward a special limited edition for The Sims 3 Showtime, which will be launched in March 2012. The singer, who is a fan of the game for many years said:

“I love how you have managed to unfold different stories through their Sims characters by selecting different career path for them and watching their success. It’s perfect when I see their Sims to interpret songs on stage in The Sims 3 Showtime, just opvs I in “California Dreams” my tour, and even video screens with the cotton candy at the game! I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I am a Sim!
