“Hunger Games” Soundtrack Led the Billboard

The soundtrack to the blockbuster “Hunger Games” led the musical charts the USA.During the first week of sales from the movie soundtrack sold over 175,000 copies.

In writing the music for “Hungr games” among others took part Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, The Civil Wars, Maroon 5, Neko Case, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert and others.

The soundtrack of “Hunger Games” was just the 16th in a row in the history of the soundtrack chart Billboard, who managed to get to the top of the charts. The previous soundtrack, who took first place in the Billboard 200, was in November 2009 “This Is It” by Michael Jackson .
