Will iPhone 5 Succeed to Eliminate ” The Generation Gap” ?

Will upcoming iPhone 5 be equally popular  in  both elders and youngsters ?

Acting president of HTC America Martin Fichter says that the iPhone is losing its appeal in the younger generation of smartphone users. When young people see their parents and older people using the popular smartphone, the phone becomes less hip .He says,

I talked to a few of the kids And none of them has an iPhone because they told me‘My dad has an iPhone.’They were carrying HTCs. They were carrying Samsungs. They were even carrying some Chinese manufacture’s devices but iPhones are not that cool anymore. We here are using iPhones, but our kids don’t find them that cool anymore

On the other hand upcoming iPhone 5 is expecting a stronger demand in market .Many people want to buy iPhone 5 its popularity graph is more higher then iPhone 4 when it was ready to launch.
