Buffalo is also Expanding into the Thunderbolt SSD

By Following footsteps of Elgato or LaCie , Buffalo announced versions of its external drives SSD 2.5 “Mini Station. Reminder, these drives are equipped with a Thunderbolt interface (one connector) and a second in USB 3.0.

The retail price of these discs will be € 299 for the 128 GB model and 499 euros for 256 GB which is more expensive than other solutions Thunderbolt (but not USB 3.0). At this price, you will be entitled to Thunderbolt cable. 
Buffalo boasts speeds up to 382 MB / s, which is within the average SSD Thunderbolt external drives without RAID. It remains to be seen what kind of SSD is embedded in it.
