Acer Aspire 7600U and 5600U, All-In-One Windows 8

With the new series of all-in-one PC presented at Computex Taipei, Acer completes the trio of products based on Windows 8 , after the two tablets and two ultrabook with Intel processors. The Aspire 7600U and 5600U have a multitouch screen full HD (1,920 × 1,080 pixels), respectively, 23 and 27 inches capable of detecting up to 64 simultaneous touches.

The most interesting of the two all-in-one PC is without doubt the backing that allows you to use the large panel horizontally. The Aspire 7600U and 5600U may in fact become effectively desks multitouch suited to collaborative work, thanks to an inclination of between 0 and 90 degrees (for 7600U), and between 30 and 85 degrees (for the 5600U).

As for the tablet and ultrabook, Acer did not provide the technical specifications of products, so it is possible to detect only the external connections by looking at the pictures taken during the presentation. The Aspire 7600U incorporates two ports USB 3.0 and the connector for the power supply on the back, an SD card reader, two more USB 3.0 ports, microphone and headphone jack on the left side, a Blu-ray on the right side. Both all-in-one offering a high-quality sound thanks to Dolby Surround Theater.

No details on the processors, but it is certain that the CPU Intel Ivy Bridge . More information will be communicated later, at the date of launch. So not before the release of Windows 8, expected in October. In any case, Acer has provided a price ranging between 999 and $ 1,599 for the 5600U , and between 1599 and $ 2,199 for the 7600U .
