For months rumors have circulated that Twitter was planning to launch a service or application to share video from mobile devices. While Facebook already had done the same with good results that Twitter would not fare well, that is why the company has filed Vine , an application that aims to share videos which is available for free on the App Store.
Funny thing is that the application itself does not show that the claims relate to Twitter, instead appears to have been created by Vine Labs, Inc . Yet the idea behind this application is to capture short videos that can be shared, of family or friends through various social networks.
The concept is not much different to what is offered today but the application is well maintained and is very similar to Instagram , only instead of sharing photos here you can share short video clips.
