Apple has already begun production of a MacBook Air with a larger screen to counter competition from ultrabook.
According to information published by Digitimes, and from sources close to the production chain, Apple is going to announce a 15-inch MacBook Air in the first quarter of 2012. The aim would be to counter sales of ultrabook .
With the next generation of MacBook, Apple will jump to the final cloud . It will be eliminated traditional hard drives and optical drives in favor of SSD , Thunderbolt and services accessible on the “cloud”. The launch of the new MacBook should also coincide with the architecture Ivy Bridge , it is likely the use of Intel processors at 22 nanometers. The latest update for the MacBook Air goes back to last July.
