Facebook with More than one Billion Active Users

Facebook is not the first service that people have invented to connect. We are part of a rich tradition of people who create tools to unite. So today, we celebrate this tradition. We honour humanity made up of people to whom we offer this service, and we honour all the things that people do every day to join.
Chairs, bells, air-planes, bridges, games. These are all things that connect us. It is easy to forget why we do these things. ‘s easy to feel isolated. It’s easy to feel alone . So maybe the reason why we do these things is to remind us that we are not alone.
