The redsn0w jailbreak tool is now available in version redsn0w 0.9.10b5c download for Mac OS X and Windows. 0.9.10 enables untethered redsn0w b5c iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, iPad, iPod touch 1 and 3G & 4G.
While the problems b5b redsn0w 0.9.10 with custom ramdisk for iPhone 3G & iPod touch 2G already assumed, fixed 0.9.10 redsn0w jailbreak tools b5c of crashes due to an overflowed ramdisk:
Update # 5b and # 5c: b5b version fixes an issue with using custom ramdisks on iPhone3G and iPod2G, and version b5c Prevents redsn0w from crashing due to the ever-growing ramdisk size.
In short – a renewed iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak for iPhone or iPad not be carried out with redsn0w 0.9.10b 5c must be (but, then uncheck Install Cydia).
