Apple Wants to Turn the iPhone into a Universal Remote

The universal remote to control several devices are widely used commercially. Most of the time simply enter a code corresponding to the aircraft or configure the remote USB giving the brand a device for it to fly it without problem.
Apple filed a patent on this rather interesting .

The company proposes to transform the iPhone into a universal remote and offers a very simple to configure. It would be enough to photograph the remote which will then be compared to all models available in a database, it then sending the codes to the iPhone. It could not be simpler.
Caution, however, lacks the bulk to the iPhone into a universal remote, an infrared module. There are, however, that are grafted into the headphone jack of the mobile.
