Apple Confirms Purchased Anobit
The rumors concerning the possible acquisition of Israeli society Anobit from Apple’s own words are confirmed by the Cupertino company, which announced the deal that will bring home the know-how of a group long active in study of useful solutions to improve existing technologies in the field of storage using solid-state devices .
These technologies appear to be present in different devices of the bitten apple, iPhone and iPad in the first place, of which the controller to manage its own SSDs are manufactured by Anobit. The decision to acquire the entire company is therefore confirmation of the will by Apple at home to study new solutions that will further raise the bar of quality and improving the performance of such media for use on board their products.
At the moment it is not known what is the figure that has allowed the U.S. giant to gain the approval of the vertices of Anobit, although Israeli sources close to the company talk about 400-500 million U.S. dollars in total.
