13 Steps to Jailbreak iPad With RedSn0w

Redsn0w is at rest competent of jailbreaking the most recent iOS 4.3.5 firmware for , iPad, iPhone and iTouch and now we can jailbreak our first generation iPad with this jaibreaking gizmo. For the jailbreakers, its very analogous to iOS 4.3.4. Redsn0w 0.9.8b3 can jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 as it was talented to jailbreak iOS 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 is released to fix a security weakness with certificate validation.

Step 1
First Create a folder on your desktop named 

Download RedSn0w from one of the following links

4.3.4 (iPad 1): iPad1,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw
4.3.5 (iPad 1): iPad1,1_4.3.5_8L1_Restore.ipsw

Now Extract zip of RedSn0w into the Pwnage folder.

Step 2
Now Connect the iPad to the computer and start iTunes.

now Select the iPad from list of devices on the left. Now hold down Shift and click Restore button.

now Navigate to the Pwnage folder on  desktop and select  4.3.5 firmware ipsw.  and now Click the Choose button to continue.

Step 3
when iTunes  finished updating iPad to the desired firmware open the Pwnage folder on  desktop and launch the redsn0w application from the redsn0w folder that was extracted in fist step.

note that the Windows 7 users need to run RedSn0w in Vista Compatibility mode.  (by right clicking the executable and select Properties from the menu.)

Step 4
When RedSn0w opens click the Browse button

Step 5
Select the 4.3.5 firmware ipsw , placed in the Pwnage folder on desktop and then click Open.

Step 6
when  firmware has been verified click the Next button and continue.

Step 7
now RedSn0w will  prepare  jailbreak data

Step 8
now From this window select the jailbreak options of your choice. Make sure that Cydia is selected and click the Next button to continue.

Step 9
Now plug the iPad into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button

Step 10
RedSn0w will now guide through the steps to get into DFU mode.

Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for apx.10 seconds.

Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.

Step 11
 iPad will now reboot

Step 12
RedSn0w will now begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.

Step 13
when this step is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done. Click the Finish button. When  iPad finishes rebooting (6 minutes apx) it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.

Last step  for BOOT TETHERED option.
Now connect your iPhone to the computer, launch RedSn0w, select Just boot tethered  now from the options window and click Next to have RedSn0w boot your device.
