Mozilla Corporation has announced that Firefox no longer support some older versions of Windows. Firefox 13, which is due out June 4, 2012, will be compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP RTM (“original” version of the OS) and Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1). Under Windows XP SP2 and SP3, as well as under later versions of the program will continue to work.
Users who have installed one of the fallen in the “black list” versions of Windows, Mozilla advises to upgrade the OS. If not, they can change the browser Opera. Chrome browser also requires Windows XP SP2 or later.
Mozilla also reminded users that the April cease out an update for Firefox 3.6. This browser version appeared in early 2010.
