Apple has bought, finally, the domain name iPhone4.com officially – and this has been a long time coming, considering that the 4th generation iPhone was launched to the masses last year. It seemed as if the Whois record for iPhone4.com was actually transferred Whois Privacy Services Apple just a couple of days ago, where the domain name expires in 19 years time. That is a very, very long way when you think about it, and who knows what the iPhone would be in the next two decades?
Interestingly, Apple does not iPhone5.com own iPhone6.com or even iPhone7.com and so on and so on. Does this mean that an entrepreneur may choose to beat out Apple at its own game, squatting on domains for the future? Maybe – what is Your Opinion?
