VLC , a cross-platform media players and more popular, is about to star in a change in OS X. The second major version of the player will arrive this week with a redesigned interface from scratch , modernizing and adapting to the features provided by version latest OS X.
The interface (whose color can be the standard gray or black OS X QuickTime) will have a sidebar in the style of Finder shortcuts to playlists, local folders, access to local web content and some feeds Internet video. A main area we invite you drag a video to the player to play. The application, meanwhile, has also improved resolving errors and offering some new features. The bottom bar with all playback controls, and support for full screen applications Lion are some, for example.
This new interface is unique to OS X, while the equivalent versions for other operating systems will continue to use the classic look of the player we all know. VLC is available for completely free through his official website (your license does not permit the publication on the Mac App Store, and I do not try to do it after everything happened with VLC for IOS ) at some point this week.
