Cartoon Based on the Angry Birds will be Released in Autumn

Representatives of the company Rovio Mobile announced that the fall of 2012 will provide the audience a cartoon series based on the game Angry Birds. It is reported by The Guardian.

Short episodes of the series “Angry Birds” will be released once a week. Duration of each of them will be from two and a half to three minutes. Total planned 52 such episodes. According to representatives of Rovio Mobile, TV series will reveal the deeper characters of the game and, in particular, give an answer to the question of why birds are always angry.

The original game was designed for iOS and released in December 2009. She was later ported to other platforms. The game should be shooting birds with a slingshot on the structures erected by the main antagonist – pigs.

March 22, 2012 released a new version of the game, dubbed Angry Birds Space.She scored ten million downloads in less than three days.

In the summer of 2011 it was announced that Rovio has planned several film projects based on the game Angry Birds. It was already known that the company wants to remove not only the animated series, but a feature film. Then it was reported that the release of films to be held not earlier than 2014. Now representatives of the Rovio noted that work on the tape goes, but it will be released only in 2013 or 2014.
