Apple launches fifth developer beta for iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1

Apple has just released the fifth beta for developers of three of its operating systems: iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1 . Since the release of the public versions in mid-September, Apple has been releasing new betas at a rate of once a week.

Important news for iOS 12

  • Group FaceTime calls ( withdrawn before the release of iOS 12 ). Users who have a device compatible with this version can make calls with up to 32 participants.
  • iOS 12.1 also brings us 70 new emojis and variations , which we saw recently.
  • Photos with portrait effect made on the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR can regulate the bokeh effect in real time before pressing the button.
  • With this version you finally activate the possibility of using the eSIM of the new iPhone . A function that allows to use a second telephone number in the terminal.

On the other hand, watchOS 5.1 will bring support for FaceTime group audio calls in addition to the new emojis. We can not forget either that the Apple Watch Series 4 will receive a new sphere in full color with this update. As for tvOS, Apple has not disclosed yet what improvements and bug fixes have been made in the platform.
