jailbreak1Joshua Hill, aka p0sixninja and famous exponent of the scene of the jailbreak today announced the official close of the Chronic-Dev Team , one of the most prolific hacker teams in the history of the changes to the iPhone.

From 2009 to date, for four years, the Chronic-Dev Team has delighted the jailbreak scene with a number of important tools. For the uninitiated, the hacker group led by p0sixninja we GreenPois0n (to install Cydia on iOS 4.2.1), Absinthe (for the untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.1.1), or other projects like TinyUmbrella , the famous tool for Windows and Mac to save SHSH certificates on their computers are essential to downgrade the OS on devices based on iOS.

Just a few minutes ago the tweet in which Joshua Hill has officially announced the final closing of the Chronic-Dev Team , moreover widely expected given the birth  of Evad3rs , a new group containing all the best from the world of jailbreak, including planetbeing pod2g and is currently working on the jailbreak of iOS 6.1 .

The reason for the closure, as we read the same tweet p0sixninja, is due to the fact that many of the leaders have abandoned their projects over the last few months to devote to their “real” lives. Recall that between MuscleNerd and p0sixninja there were some disagreements lately and it was the latter to leave the team without giving clear reasons.

Of course concludes today one of the most important pages in the history of the jailbreak, who knows what awaits the future of p0sixninja, will add to Evad3rs, or let the whole world of hacking mobile?
